Our History
Southwest Florida Wounded Vet Run is an approved 501(c)(3), Tax Exempt, Non-Profit Organization and was originally founded in honor of CPL Vincent Mannion-Brodeur and our former vice president. Our mission continues today focusing on our combat veterans of Southwest Florida and organizations that support them.
Funds raised by the Southwest Florida Wounded Vet Poker Run are distributed to organizations that have helped our wounded warriors including Semper Fi Fund, Walter Reed Society, Naples Take a Soldier Fishing, Freedom Waters Foundation, LCPL Herman USMC Osceola Memorial Basketball Tournament, Wreaths Across America among others.
We are a 100% volunteer organization, and all proceeds go to support our combat warriors.
